Hey, It’s me again! (Only been like half a year) I actually want to ask you for some advice relating to this comic. You know a lot more about photography than me and I’m coming up on some parts of my comic really soon that will be in low light inside a cave, but I don’t know how to get the pictures to look good without having a lot of light on the legos. You had a scene just three pages ago that was in dim light and I was wondering how you took those pictures without them coming out grainy. I use a Nikon coolpix L840
Hey hey! Good to hear from you 🙂
For me the secret is shooting photos in raw, iso 100 or 200 (always using a tripod!) and in best possible quality. Raw photos retain a lot of information even under low exposure circumstances. Mostly, only a little bit of postproduction is necessary afterwards.
You could also try shooting the photo in (low) light and darkening them in photoshop by lowering the exposure setting.
Most bosses are somewhere in between I guess…
Anyway, shame on me I didn’t realize blondie was the same girl from the mayor team and the one in therapy… I’m not a good fan 🙁
I suspected many readers wouldn’t realise it. That’s why I let her talk about her phone (again), first in therapy, then at cityhall and now here 🙂
