2-045 Hungry ghost
Confront… abort…
Differences over time
I really like the effect in the third panel. A moment of silence, both contemplating or waiting for a respons from the other. And then, Kemi deciding to talk about something completely different afterwards. Still Dwaas does not see too happy with Kemi at the moment. I love these kind of moments in comics!
Ah well. One thing I am happy with are most of my photo’s this year. As I said before I’m concentrating on lighting, mostly the indoor lighting and I think I’m slowly getting the hang of it! For example the photo of Steve the Bookbunny (022) compared to the first photo of Steve (link in the post)… what a difference! Not only in the lighting btw. It’s still not a 365… but I do like the flow I’m in at the moment. Let us see how far this flow will take me 🙂

Love panel 3! Also, panel 4 seems to show naturalistic movement (so do they all, actually, but 4 in particular). One doesn’t notice the limitations of the minifig range of motion. Excellent shots! (it’s the “little things,” no?)
Thank you! It’s nice of you to notice the movements! I make it a rule to always move the actors (unless its necessary for them to NOT move), even if it’s only a little.
Also… as time progresses it’s getting more and more true. It used to be about the larger concepts… now it’s more about the ‘little’ ones
Dwaas sounds annoyed… He has good reasons to be of course but… Kemi is just awesome LOL
Haha, yeah he is. In the first panel it looks like he tapping his “finger” on Kemi, lol. (at least he would have if Kemi wasn’t a ghost)
This should def be motion capture animation … looks great! oh and BTW how in the world did you implement comicEasel into Avada, I been trying for years!
Hi Rommel! Thx!
It took some time and tweaking (and not everything works as it should), but the intergration now works like a charm. I use a combination of:
1. what is told at this site: http://comiceasel.com/2014/05/14/editing-a-theme-to-support-comic-easel/
2. editing the css to remove and finetune the look of some elements
3. playing with the config (that I did on trial and error).
I also heart that the developer of comic-easel is very helpful, but I don’t know that first hand.
If I can (possibly) help, let me know via the contact-form, but keep in mind I’m not an expert.
