Nik by Google

Something that I dreaded has happened. 🙁
After updating to MacOS high Sierra the Nik Collection photoshop plugin started crashing on me. So that’s the end of the line for my all time favorite photo-editing-software.

When Google bought Nik, I was okay with that… when google made the software suite available for free… I knew something was very wrong. And it really was. They stopped supporting and updating, and now Nik stopt working properly. Google probably just bought it to get a few patents in their claws and then they killed Nik. Such a shame!

I’m going to miss little effects like the “white neutralizer” and “dark contrasts”. The upcoming episodes might look a little different as a result of this. To be honest, I hope it’ll be just a little different some episode were pretty dependent on a couple of these great Nik-editing effects.

Now I’m on the lookout for a new editing photoshop plugin. Any ideas?
