And we’re back on Eno where Willy reunites with Fidelis. We’re bouncing a bit back and forth between Eno and Brickearth at the moment because I want to move both storylines forward. At some point, the scenes will get longer.

Mist

I’m experimenting a little with mist. To add some atmosphere to some of my photos, I like to add some kind of smoke. It nicely diffuses the lights and brings some depth if used well. Only recently I found out how to get smoke to show up in photos (just like rain/ water). However, I’ve been struggling a bit on what to use for smoke. In the past I tried many things like cigars (only outside and not all that healthy), a cooking smoker (smelly! and again, outside only), a can of atmosphere aerosol (looks nice, can be used inside, but leaves a lot of dirty mess on The LEGO so everything needs to be cleaned… blergh!). Now I found something nice; a little device called a facial mister. Simply put in some water and it’ll spray a tiny mist of water! In this episode I used it for the first time. I still need to refine my skills with this thing, but to me it looks promising. What do you think?
