Spring has sprung

Day 75 - Colorful flowers

Spring has sprung

Of course it was him. You didn't think elves or gnomes were giving the flowers their colors in the spring and summer did you?

Ow, and HERE’s  the latest episode of the Foolish Lego webcomic! Number 62! lego photography

The swimming dead

Day 74 - The swimming dead

The swimming dead

There isn't much happiness and fun under the sea these days...

Secret meeting

Day 73 - Secret meeting

Secret meeting

Walking in the garden I saw something unusual. One eyed Willy and Dwaas were discussing something. Judging from the tone of this conversation, it was a pretty important subject to the two of them. I wonder what it was all about. I didn't even know they knew each other!

Ow, and HERE’s a brand new episode of the Foolish Lego webcomic! Number 62! lego photography

Strange man and his Lego

Day 72 - Strange man and his Lego

Strange

People think that I must be a very strange person because I still play with Lego. This is not correct. I have the heart of a small boy.... It is in a glass jar on my desk.

(a little bit of Stephen King ;) )

And especially for you! HERE’s the latest episode of the Foolish Lego webcomic! Number 61! lego photography

Falling apart

Day 71 - Falling apart

Falling apart

Insanity is everyone expecting you not to fall apart when you find out everything you believed in was a lie.

Pharaotic dream

Day 70 - The dreams of a queen

Pharaotic dream

Sometimes I wonder what Cleopatra used to dream about at night?
"All strange and terrible events are welcome, but comforts we despise. Our size of sorrow, proportioned to our cause, must be as great as that which makes it." (Cleopatra - Anthony and Cleopatra, act 4 scene 15)

Today I was really, really low on inspiration. In the end, today's photo was inspired by the shape of licorice candy (in Dutch "drop" I was eating (as a matter of fact the little piramids are Dutch "drop"). I once gave a bag of assorted "drop" to an American friend, and he thought I was trying to kill him, thinking "drop" was not meant for human consumption, haha. I really think the Dutch are the only people in the world that eat this stuff.... and like it too. Did you ever have it?

And especially for you! HERE’s the latest episode of the Foolish Lego webcomic! Number 61! lego photography

Godzilla goes vegan

Day 69 - Godzilla goes vegan

Godzilla goes vegan

For some reason, the movie "Godzilla goes vegan" wasn't the blockbuster that the movie-studio expected.
(the actor playing Godzilla can't seem to catch a break)

And especially for you! HERE’s a brand new episode of the Foolish Lego webcomic! Number 61! lego photography

Playing on the edge

Day 68 - Playing on the edge...

Playing on the edge

Love the desert

Day 67 - Loving the desert

Love the desert

Dwaas has always loved the desert. He sits down on a desert sand dune, sees nothing, hears nothing. Yet through the silence something throbs, and gleams... (inspired by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, The Little Prince)

It is only recently through a Lego Cusoo-project that I learned of the existence of a (French) story called 'the little prince'. Some said this is a giant hiatus in my upbringing. So I'm hoping to read the story in the near future. ;)

And speaking about a hiatus, don't forget to read episode 60 of the Foolish Lego webcomic, HERE it is!

problems and opportunities

Day 66 - problems and opportunities

problems and opportunities

The king got somewhat mixed messages; "Sir! We're surrounded!" vs. "Sir! We can attack in any direction!"

Today's trend is to think in opportunities and don't mention they're just good old fashioned problems. I myself like to think in problems, when they turn out to be opportunities, I'll find out.

And speaking about problems, HERE’s a brand new episode of the Foolish Lego webcomic! Number 60! lego photography
