Many meetings

My work involves meetings… many meetings… very, many meetings. Talking, talking and talking, whilst I could be doing something useful. Also there are e-mails, an enormous amount of e-mails, so I need to read and answer e-emails a lot, whilst I could be doing something more useful. And still people don’t understand each other or think that they are hearing/ reading something in others words that just isn’t there. Talking without listening. Pushing without hearing others. It’s all very tiresome sometimes. All the miscommunications simply through communicating, no… talking too much… without taking the effort to really listen to what is said by others.
