Panels, panels, panels
As you might have noticed, I’ve been playing with the (number of) panels. In the ‘create your own Lego Comic‘ article, there was a section on panels. Writing that section I realized I was not using the panels to give the comic something extra. So I started to play. Up until now, I mostly varied the number of panels, though secondary to that I needed to change the shape of panels too. To my surprise, I think it actually brought something extra. I was especially fond of the last panel in comic 184. Anyway, I working on a tutorial on the use of panels. That will be published within a couple of weeks i hope.

I’d venture a guess… It’s Kemi?
Hmmm…. that could be true… no?
BTW, I’m very glad you’re thinking out of the box with the panels… Shapes, numbers… I really prefer a format like what you’re experimenting over the 4 panels episodes.
The rhythm is greatly improved IMO and the drama is building differently.
And I think it gives you more latitude with the story it self
Thank you Pi3rk! Great that my experiments seem to pay off! 🙂
